2012 Awards Banquet

The 2012 ASAK Awards Banquet will be held January 21, 2012, at Ben Villar's Mexico Cafe in Wichita. General meeting starts at 6:00 pm, and dinner is at 7:00 pm. Awards to follow! Engagement News!

Brooke Jones and Dalton Rindt, both of Wamego, Kansas, have announced their engagement. They plan to be married in July 2012. We wish them both the very best, and welcome Dalton to "the horsey family."

New Horses

Congratulations to Katie Yaverski-Moneyhun on the purchase of Red Herrington, a 4 year old gelding pleasure prospect bred and trained by Ellen LaMont at LaMont Stable. We wish you lots of success in the future!

Goodbye & Good Luck

Deb & Jeff Harris have relocated their On The Rocks Ranch to sunny Georgia. We're sorry to see them go, but we wish them the best in their new adventure. Don't be strangers, Deb & Jeff!

We also say goodbye to Dr. Deanna Post, owner of Snowy River (standing at LaMont Stable). She has relocated to Belen, New Mexico, for a new job. Snowy will continue to stand at LaMont Stable. Best of luck in your new job & home, Deanna!
